I recommed Naomi Takes America on podcast

I recommed Naomi Takes AmericaAs I wrote in my blog a few days ago, lately I've been listening to English on podcasts while I'm on the move.

Podcast is a service for listening to radio that is originally included as an app on iPhone.

A variety of content is posted here. There are many messages from overseas, so it's perfect for learning English.

The podcast I'm listening to to improve my English skills is Naomi Watanabe's ``Naomi Takes America.'' This is a podcast by a comedian who has been to New York for the past three years.

Today I'm going to talk about how this podcast is interesting and educational!

◆Why do you study?

Naomi Watanabe has been to New York for three years, and to be honest, her English skills are not that good.
I think her listening skills are good, but her speaking skills still have a long way to go.

I think it's because she still works in Japan that she hasn't fully immersed herself in English, but she's not perfect anyway.

Therefore, the person who speaks to Naomi Watanabe on the radio speaks ``slow and easy-to-understand English''.

That's just helpful for me. Honestly, I have a hard time understanding the English that foreigners speak so quickly. This speed is what makes Naomi Takes America so great.

◆I can speak even if I don't speak English.

The headline may be a little meaningless, but we can learn a lot from Naomi Watanabe, who communicates even though she doesn't speak English well.
(I wrote that I can't speak, but She can speak normally. I mean compared to native speakers!)

She often uses words like "Wow" and "Cool." But by adding some intonation, the other person gets on board.

I get the feeling that she is not nervous because she can't speak English, but is relaxed and willing to communicate using the English she can speak.

I think some of this has been cultivated in the Japanese entertainment industry, but it is possible to recreate it even if you are not a comedian.

In addition to English, I think you can learn a lot about how to approach English and how to make people laugh even if your English isn't perfect.

If you are studying English, please give it a listen!
Have a nice podcast life!
